Our Strategy for Success

Scaling Up

Our Sunray executive and leadership team works directly with Petra Coach on our journey to scale up and support continued operational growth. We designed our Sunray flywheel to show how each step works together to drive growth and success over time.

At the heart of Scaling Up is also mastering the 10 Rockefeller Habits:

  1. The executive team is healthy and aligned.
  2. Everyone is aligned with the #1 thing that needs to be accomplished this quarter to move the company forward.
  3. Communication rhythm is established and information moves through the organization quickly.
  4. Every facet of the organization has a person assigned with accountability for ensuring goals are met.
  5. Ongoing team member input is collected to identify obstacles and opportunities.
  6. Reporting and analysis of customer feedback data is as frequent and accurate as financial data.
  7. Core values and purpose are “alive” in the organization.
  8. Team members can articulate the key components of the company’s strategy accurately.
  9. All team members can answer quantitatively whether they had a good day or week.
  10. The company’s plans and performance are visible to everyone.

Sunray established our Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) to Enhance 40 Million Lives by 2035 to clearly define our core purpose. We adopted the #1 priority for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly planning as well as executing quarterly business plans for each brand by market for performance and accountability. Every team is in a daily huddle to improve communication and alignment across our company. We survey our Sunray team members twice a year to establish an eNPS (Employee Net Promoter Score) by location and company-wide. We also take that feedback and outline annual goals to continue improving our team member experiences. Sunray and our brands are strong believers in NPS (Net Promoter Score) for customer feedback too. We review NPS scores and surveys daily to better our operations and service for all clients and guests.
